Psychology approach:"I will open 1 to 5 positions today" is not

Because it's the same as:"To earn some money, I will do this and
that".To win the game you must know yourself and have skills!

At the beginning we must know the fact : While emotions rule,
intellect is shut
off and the other way round.
We have two emotions that control you while you are trading the
market: FEAR and
GREED.
Did you know that our entire life is controlled exactly by these two
emotions.
Fact: In the moment when one of these two emotions surface, the
human being changes his or her decision in split of a second.

When you don't operate from your ego, you are able to be in your
trading zone.

The key factor that will determine your financial future is not the
economy; the key factor is your philosophy.

Why is it that when you ask most successful traders about trading
they will tell you it is the most beautiful job in the world?

Yet when you ask a struggling trader what they think of it and they
will tell you it is one of the most stressful jobs in the world.

So what is one of the main things that separates those who are
successful and those who are struggling? A broad answer to this
would be their mindset or psychology towards the market.

Success in trading depends on education to learn the critical
technical analysis, trading techniques, sound money management
habits, and how to control your emotions.

You can possess the best trading methodology and a system, but if
you are weak on psychology you are likely to fail.

Whereas someone with a mediocre trading system, but strong
discipline with mental & psychology skills is likely to be on a
winning side.

Example 1:

A new day has started and I had my breakfast. On the way to my
computer I make a decision:"I will find an opportunity to set up a

I understand that I have made a mistake, but I am an optimist. I
continue to wait for positive results.

I stick to the rules strictly, Stop loss is fixed. Time is passing.

Besides having a loss, I recognize that I had made totally wrong
interpretation of the graph at the start. Everything has been
showing the other direction of price movement.

I discovered that traders who talk a lot about the complicated
analysis techniques were actually never traders themselves!

They had no idea how the market behaved and they were too
theoretical. The ones who were real traders made the subject arcane
and complex, which the ordinary folks can never understand.

I used some theoretical knowledge from these people but mostly I
charted my own path. I got my hands dirty and traded in everything,
doing my own research in a practical way.
